Sigh of relief

Dogs are hard. When I got Lulu, I joked to my then-boyfriend that she was a "practice" baby. Turns out, they aren't practice anything. They get sick, hurt, scared and now (thankfully) better.

Thank you for the calls, the emails and the flowers on our door step. Katana, aka"That damn dog," is happily digging in the garden, burying the new bone she got as a get well gift.

Oh I stated tearing up when the screen loaded.. that is an adouralbe picture of you two!!

Yes dogs are "practice" babies, remember when you first brought Lulu to Grandpas..and she got stuck inbetween the sliding glass door and the screen (because shes just a curious silly dog), well remember that babies wont beable to do that. :)

Im glad to hear that Katana is doing better!! Now you and Joe get some sleep!

Love you! <3

It is so good to hear that our little...er, big sweetheart is doing better. Give her a few more days and she will be back on her paws, making messes and digging holes in the garden. Such a sweetie!!

I'm so relieved she is on the mend. Katana is just the most serene and balanced dog I've ever known.

I remember when Lulu got caught between the screen and sliding glass door and **someone** about had a heart attack and may not have quite recovered, even now.

Oy - they aren't practice at all, are they?

Poor Lizz, what a worry for you and Joe! Katana is a wonderful dog, and she must get totally well and back to enjoying her life with Lulu. You are so lucky at least ONE of your dogs doesn't get into mischief!
